Astrocytoma is the most common type of WHO grade II glioma. Surgical surgery is currently the main treatment method for astrocytoma in clinical practice. By surgical treatment, pathological types are identified and classified into high-risk and low-risk types based on the patient's age and degree of tumor resection. Low risk patients can continue to observe and receive radiotherapy and chemotherapy if necessary; High risk patients should receive systematic chemotherapy and radiation therapy after surgery, and undergo regular follow-up to prolong their survival.
