Astrocytoma symptom
The clinical symptoms of low-grade astrocytoma are related to its growth location. If it grows in a non functional area, low-grade astrocytoma does not show signs in the early stage, but later on, it will show signs of increased intracranial pressure, including headache, vomiting, and papilledema. If low-grade astrocytoma grows in some important functional areas, even if the tumor is relatively small, corresponding symptoms will still appear. The symptoms vary depending on different regions. If it is in the motor area, it may manifest as abnormal limb activity, while if it is in the language area, it may result in corresponding language dysfunction. So low-grade astrocytoma also exhibits different manifestations in different parts.
