Ewing's sarcoma symptom
The symptoms of Ewing's sarcoma vary from person to person. Usually, the first symptom is pain where the tumor is located. The pain often worsens at night or during exercise, and may be due to tumor growth or fractures of bones weakened by the tumor.
Other symptoms of Ewing's sarcoma include:
Tumor site mass, swelling, or tenderness
fever
Fracture after a minor accident or normal activity
fatigued
Walking with a limp
Weight loss
If the tumor spreads near the spine, the limbs are weak, numb, or paralyzed
If Ewing's sarcoma has spread to the lungs, shortness of breath may be possible
These symptoms do not always mean that your child has Ewing's sarcoma. Many of the signs are similar to the normal little problems that many children have. However, it is a good idea to talk to your doctor, as these problems may indicate other health problems.
