Malignant neoplasms of nasal cavity and sinuses diagnosis

1. It is more common in middle-aged and elderly people, mostly in maxillary sinus and ethmoid sinus, followed by nasal cavity, and rare in frontal sinus and sphenoid sinus.


2. Early unilateral progressive nasal congestion, bloody nose, headache, facial numbness.


3. Advanced nasal discharge, complete nasal blockage, cheek bulge, eyeball displacement, double vision and vision loss, persistent severe head pain, difficulty in opening the mouth, hard palate on the couch, neck mass.


4. External wall of nasal cavity inward migration, nasal cavity or middle nasal tract polyp or cabbage mass, surface ulcer necrosis, easy to touch bleeding.


5. B-ultrasonography showed substantial sinus masses.


6. X-ray sinuses, tomographs and maxillary sinusiograms can show the tumor site.


7. New biopsies in the nasal cavity or sinuses can confirm the diagnosis.
