The Children's Radiotherapy Center of Yizhou Cancer Hospital, under the leadership of the Vice president and director of the Children's Radiotherapy Center, Shimizu Shostar (J), has become an important base for children's radiotherapy and one of the few children's radiotherapy centers in China. In order to provide better diagnosis and treatment for these little angels with broken wings and make their hospitalization more comfortable, the medical staff of the Children's Tumor Radiotherapy Department (Radiotherapy Department 6) put in a lot of effort.

When Dong Chao, the head nurse of the center, heard that the 3-year-old patient KK in a certain ward was about to celebrate his birthday, he immediately took action and carefully prepared birthday gifts, planning to celebrate a unique birthday for the child.

KK, due to suffering from medulloblastoma and experiencing symptoms such as language impairment and cognitive impairment after undergoing surgical treatment in an external hospital, was admitted to our hospital for further treatment.

During the hospitalization, the KK family formed a bond with the medical staff of the department, forming a deep friendship and establishing a family like relationship.

The pediatric oncology nursing team led by head nurse Dong Chao is also an excellent nursing team in our hospital. At the recent Nurses' Day, Dong Chao's team also won the "Excellent Department of Nursing" award.

Dong Chao's team has also been praised multiple times by patients for their high-quality service.

On KK's birthday, the nurses in the Children's Oncology Department specially dressed up as cartoon characters, just to make KK happy.

Other small patients in the same department, seeing cartoon characters, rushed out and consciously participated in a happy atmosphere.

The nurse sister also prepared exquisite small gifts for the children, and had a happy interaction with them. The scene was filled with laughter and a harmonious atmosphere, forming a happy little ocean.

Seeing the happy appearance of the child, KK's parents were also infected and laughed. The melancholy clouds that had been covering their faces for many days were washed away, and the ward was filled with happy air.

Finally, KK's grandmother held the hand of head nurse Dong Chao, trembling for a long time without speaking. She excitedly expressed that she didn't expect it, just casually mentioned that the child's birthday was about to arrive.
