This free clinic activity has received strong support from the Zhuozhou Women's Federation and has provided important guidance multiple times. The Chairman of the Women's Federation, Shi Hongtao, also personally attended the free clinic and delivered a speech, setting the tone for the free clinic activities and pointing out the political direction. The reason why cervical cancer screening was selected for this free clinic is that the incidence rate of cervical cancer occupies the first place in malignant tumors of female reproductive system, which deeply puzzles the majority of Chinese women. Moreover, due to the sensitivity of the site and the influence of traditional beliefs, many female patients suffer from it but are ashamed to speak. Re screening, early diagnosis and treatment, disease prevention and cancer prevention and treatment urgently need to improve the public's awareness and awareness of cancer prevention among women of appropriate age.

The main factor leading to cervical cancer is persistent HPV infection, so prevention and screening are crucial.

In 2020, the World Health Organization proposed the slogan of the "Global Strategy to Eliminate Cervical Cancer", aiming to achieve 90% of girls under the age of 15 receiving cervical cancer vaccines by 2030, 70% of women aged 35-45 receiving effective cervical cancer screening, and 90% of cervical cancer patients receiving effective treatment. In January of this year, our relevant national departments also released relevant documents.

Data shows that 99% of cervical cancer is associated with high-risk HPV infection. HPV is a virus, and cervical cancer is a viral infectious disease that can be prevented and treated. Patients benefit the most from treating cervical precancerous lesions when there is no cancer progression, and cervical cancer screening is a crucial step.

Yizhou Cancer Hospital provides free TCT+HPV screening to female friends in Zhuozhou and surrounding areas, which is of great significance.

Dr. Mu Qimei, Director of Gynecology at Yizhou Cancer Hospital, also pointed out during the education process at the free clinic that "some cancers can be detected and treated early, while others can be prevented. For example, the cervical cancer we screened for free today is a preventable cancer, and it is also a disease that can be detected and treated early. TCT is the examination of cervical exfoliated cells, through the abnormality of cervical exfoliated cells, to initially determine whether the cervical lesions; HPV is from the point of view of the virus to check whether the cervix is infected by the virus, the two cannot replace each other. With TCT and HPV screening, if a problematic case is found, the next step is needed.

Yizhou Cancer Hospital hopes that through this activity, it can effectively improve the awareness of Zhuozhou and the surrounding areas of age-appropriate women on cancer, especially cervical cancer, and drive more Chinese women to raise the awareness of early cancer screening, prevent the disease before it is started, and prevent cancer before it is in the bud. Although the free clinic activity held in Fanyang Park has come to an end, the free cervical cancer screening activity has just started and will continue to be promoted.
