Cai Weihua, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee of Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province, warmly welcomed the arrival of Professor Wang Hongwei and his delegation. Cai Weihua said that Zhuozhou is located in the northwest of North China Plain, the southwest of Beijing, and the south gate of Beijing. Li Xianfeng, the mayor of Zhuozhou City, also felt sincere joy and incomparable welcome for the arrival of Professor Wang Hongwei and his delegation. Dean Han Jian mentioned that the reason why Yizhou Cancer Hospital is called "Yizhou" is because the hospital is located in Zhuozhou City, adjacent to the capital city. Zhuozhou, also known throughout the world, was inscribed with the imperial pen of Emperor Qianlong as the "First Prefecture in the World". The name "Yizhou" originates from the imperial saying of "the first state in the world". As the allusions spread, they quickly ignited the enthusiasm of the visiting guests and praised the thriving and magnificent name of Yizhou Cancer Hospital.

As an expert in the field of structural biology, Professor Wang Hongwei is an international authority in the analysis of biological macromolecular structures and cryoelectron microscopy methodology in China. Professor Wang Hongwei graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Department of Biological Science and Technology at Tsinghua University in 1996. After graduating with a bachelor's degree, he continued to study for a doctoral degree under Academician Sui Senfang. After returning to China for further education in the United States, Wang Hongwei led his team to invent a new type of functionalized single crystal graphene electron microscope carrier network, which greatly reduces the background noise generated by the supporting film during the freezing electron microscope imaging process, enhances the signal-to-noise ratio, and improves the efficiency of biological macromolecule structure analysis. The application and promotion of graphene carrier networks is one of the milestone events in the history of biological discovery.

Professor Wang Hongwei is also full of affection for Yizhou Cancer Hospital. Professor Wang mentioned that one of his relatives had proton radiation therapy in Yizhou Cancer Hospital recently because of pancreatic cancer, and the postoperative recovery effect was very good. He will come to Yizhou Cancer Hospital for reexamination in the near future. It's just this opportunity to say thanks to all the medical staff of Yizhou Cancer Hospital. Dean Han Jian also expressed gratitude to Professor Wang Hongwei for recognizing the effectiveness of our hospital's diagnosis and treatment.

Professor Wang Hongwei and his team conducted an in-depth investigation and research on the IBA Proteus PLUS proton therapy system introduced by our hospital, and went deep into the 5th treatment module to observe the technical details of the proton therapy system on site. They conducted research on the CBCT image guidance system, respiratory gating technology, pen beam scanning technology, and 360 ° rotating frame one by one, and combined them with the current research topic being studied by Tsinghua University, Propose effective exploration for building a research institution based on proton therapy with Yizhou.

Professor Wang Hongwei stated that Yizhou Cancer Hospital, as one of the few tertiary cancer specialized hospitals that obtained the proton device configuration certificate approved by the National Health Commission and officially operated during the 13th Five Year Plan period, can achieve the current achievements, which is a great thing. With the transformation and development of our country's society, the future of the health and medical industry is a blue ocean. We believe that a continent will have great potential and promising prospects in its future development.
